Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and systems according to specifications and schematics. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using various hand and power tools. This position is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
SUMMARY:
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies for traffic signal control systems. Fill work orders, follow production drawings and verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies
- Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders
- Pack finished products for shipment
- Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment
- Responsible for meeting deadlines
- Clean, maintain and organize work and desk area
- Maintain stock/inventory levels
- Troubleshoot electrical assemblies
- Perform related duties as needed by supervision
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ABILITIES:
- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Regularly required to use hand tools, air tools, electrical tools
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or related experience – Electrical Training Preferred
- Minimum 2-year Assembly, Machine Operator and/or Manufacturing Experience
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Attention to detail
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and technical data sheets
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
