Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with freight handling, and experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues
- Manage freight documentation, including delivery manifests and receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any issues
- Assist with vehicle maintenance or minor repairs related to automotive systems when necessary
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times
Experience
- Valid " D" driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Prior experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or logistics preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is advantageous but not required
- Experience with cargo securement and safe loading/unloading procedures is desirable

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
