We are seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and passionate about preparing high‑quality food. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to specification, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and supporting smooth service operations.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and perform daily prep tasks according to recipes and standards.
- Cook and plate menu items with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations (Fraser Health standards).
- Set up and stock stations before service; restock during and after shifts.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in an organized manner.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure timely, smooth service.
- Monitor waste, portion sizes, and quality control.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred.
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Good knife skills and familiarity with standard cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and execute menu items consistently.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
