Cost Accountant / Purchasing Manager
We are seeking a results-driven Cost Accountant / Purchasing Manager to lead our Hospitality Procurement Operations and drive strategic, cost-effective purchasing initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, build and maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. You will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels, controlling costs, and supporting efficient business operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
- Manage supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as operations, finance, and logistics
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
Qualifications:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices
- Experience in industries such as hospitality an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (considered an asset)

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
