Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional experienced Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and possess strong knowledge of food service operations. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is requiered, along with familiarity with POS systems such as cluster POS. Candidates should demonstrate excellent time management, customer service skills, and a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures diligently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accuracy
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
- Hospitality or guest services experience is a plus but not mandatory
