The Bell Person will contribute to the overall success of the hotel by anticipating guest needs and providing friendly, efficient, and superior customer service with every guest interaction. The position is responsible for maintaining a positive front of the house environment while maintaining high internal & external guest service standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide luggage assistance upon guest arrival and departure, ensuring a professional and welcoming check-in and check-out experience
- Accurately and efficiently store and retrieve guest luggage
- Operate the hotel shuttle to support guest transportation needs as required
- Assist with guest vehicle parking and retrieval when requested
- Collaborate closely with all Front Desk team members to ensure seamless guest service
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of hotel group bookings, special requests, and scheduled events
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Front Desk, lobby, and driveway areas
- Contribute consistently to delivering a positive and memorable guest experience
- Arrange guest transportation, including taxis, shuttles, and tour buses as needed
- Review shift logs to stay informed of daily operations, arrivals, and special instructions
- Identify VIP arrivals and ensure appropriate service and amenity delivery
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on local attractions, sights, and activities
- Assist with delivering items to guest rooms as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Outgoing, warm, and friendly personality with a guest-first attitude
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract and safe driving record
- Strong familiarity with the local area and attractions
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
