The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the required personnel and equipment for maximum efficiency while exceeding our safety and service requirements. As the main point of contact between GFL and our customers, the Service Coordinator will have exceptional communication skills with an eye for detail and understanding of the work performed within the division.
Job Duties:
- Management of all inbound and outbound customer calls including the scheduling of customer call-in’s based on scheduling parameters.
- Generate all required service orders and send to personnel.
- Facilitate all personnel activities and requirements for their duties.
- Finalize all invoices for submission to clients.
- Liaison with facility operations regarding waste requirements and supplies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Waste management industry experience.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Passion for working in a fast paced environment.
- Competent knowledge regarding word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract.
