Compensation
At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members and are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $66110 - $87587.8. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training.
This position may also be eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP). AIP amounts are variable and are dependent on both company and individual performance, subject to eligibility criteria. The target bonus percentage for this role is 4% of annual base earnings.
The Lean Performance Systems (LPS) organization has overall responsibility for the development and deployment of S&C’s Lean Performance Systems. Team members in this group provide a variety of services to all S&C organizations including improvement project leadership, coaching, facilitation, training, and subject matter expertise.
The primary contribution of the Senior LPS Facilitator comes from helping various departments to achieve improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and human development. Other contributions include developing and deploying lean methods and tools and developing standards.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate improvement projects while collaborating with business owners at multiple (Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager) levels within S&C Canada.
- Create and improve Value Streams and Process Maps to better serve the internal and external customers.
- Work with Leadership Team, Departmental Managers, and Team Members to plan, facilitate and manage cross-functional improvement projects including Kaizen events.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members across all company departments during the planning and execution of improvement projects and 4 Step Problem Solving.
- Promote and be a contributor in developing continuous improvement approaches, methods, and tools, and related improvement tools applied by S&C.
- Prepare reports, training, and other developmental materials with an emphasis on LPS (e.g., standardized work, problem solving, etc.)
Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to junior team members

Minimum Requirements:
- University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering or Business (with a focus on Operations Management) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience will be considered.
- 5 years of related experience working within a manufacturing plant environment.
- Demonstrated experience successfully facilitating lean training and implementation.
- Previous experience coaching and developing others.
- Solid understanding of lean performance principles and practices, operational excellence concepts and tools, such as value stream mapping, business process re-design, facility layout design, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse groups.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and associated tasks.
- Strong process analytical skills.
- Ability to work with and influence a wide range of levels in the organization - from executive leadership to production team members.
Proficient with MS Office suite, Excel and PowerPoint
