Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver for a dedicated run primarily operating back and forth between the Okanagan Valley and the Lower Mainland/Vancouver.
This position is ideal for drivers looking for consistent, regional highway miles with predictable routing. We are actively hiring candidates who reside in either the Okanagan or the Lower Mainland regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles primarily on the Okanagan-to-Vancouver corridor.
- Ensure strict compliance with all provincial transportation regulations (including winter driving protocols on BC mountain passes).
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with dispatch regarding schedules, weather conditions, and route updates.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and delivery documentation.
- Safely secure, monitor, and transport freight to ensure on-time delivery in excellent condition.

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
- Clean commercial driver’s abstract (Resumes submitted with an updated abstract will be prioritized).
- Minimum 2 years of Class 1 mountain driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BC highways, terrain, and changing weather conditions (specifically the Coquihalla/Hwy 97C).
- Professional attitude, strong safety mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Work Location
- On the road (Home base in either the Okanagan or Lower Mainland).
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
