Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing orders and ensuring satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high-quality guest service.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately through cashiering duties.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
