Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender with 2 years of minimum experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks efficiently.
- Operate the POS system for order entry and payment processing, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold the establishment's hospitality standards while maintaining a friendly atmosphere.
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
