Job Summary
Seeking a reliable and safety-conscious AZ/DZ Truck Driver to transport goods and materials efficiently while complying with all transportation regulations, with over 3+ years’ experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle inspections, safe operation of commercial vehicles, timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. Driver will drive truck and trailer to haul aggregates and/or float equipment in a safe and efficient manner to designated company locations.
Duties
- Transport goods, materials, or equipment to customer locations and job sites.
- Conduct pre-trips, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered without damage.
- Maintain driver logs, delivery records, and required transportation documents.
- Comply with all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and supervisors.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or maintenance requirements.
- Always follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading , unloading, and other related duties as required.
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with flatbeds, dump trucks, live-boom trailers, or tractor-trailers is considered an asset.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles for basic vehicle maintenance.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety compliance.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
