Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Service Team for the summer season. As a team member, you will be an ambassador for the lodge’s dining experience, providing warm, personal attention that ensures guests feel welcome and valued.
This is a seasonal position running from May through September. Staff work a scheduled 35 to 44 hours per week with a variety of morning and evening shifts.
- Compensation: Hourly wage supplemented by gratuities, averaging $20–$30 per hour.
- Housing providing for full-time staff (shared accommodations with full kitchen).
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests and present menus.
- Describe menu items, including daily specials, and make recommendations.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism.
- Advise guests on wine selections.
- Take orders and relay them accurately to kitchen and bar staff.
- Operate order-taking software and payment systems.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- Assist with dishes, busing tables, and resets.
- Prepare salads and pre-pour soups.
- Assist with laundry as required.
Qualifications
- Food and beverage serving experience is an asset.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Smart Serve Certification required.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail.
