Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Lead and supervise staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices across all kitchen and retail areas.
- Coordinate daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or disciplinary actions as necessary to uphold service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow, manage food presentation, and control costs.
- Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality, and efficient service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service supervision.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience operating POS systems such as Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food industry standards, restaurant operations, and kitchen processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective team management and guest interactions.
