The Role
The successful candidate will be part of our Operations team in Calgary and will support the team during the peak season as a Seasonal Relief Driver/Warehouse Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with product delivery experience who is highly familiar with Calgary and surrounding areas. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Covering other routes as needed due to Driver holidays, absences, or fluctuating demands.
- Delivering orders to customers on assigned routes.
- Ensuring all customer deliveries are conducted according to established procedures.
- Providing first‑class service to all customers.
- Merchandising products.
- Completing related delivery paperwork.
- Conducting pre‑ and post‑trip inspections.
- Adhering to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
- Assisting in warehouse and order picking tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Route/Delivery Driver
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Air brake endorsement (required)
- A clean driver’s abstract (required)
- Able to complete overnight, out‑of‑town deliveries
- Able to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to merchandise products
- Customer service oriented
- Exceptional work ethic and positive team attitude
- Reliable and punctual
