Chios is looking for a passionate and detail oriented Pastry Chef to join our growing team. We are seeking someone with hands on pastry experience who is eager to continue learning and growing with us.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of pastries, cheesecakes, cookies, desserts and other baked goods according to Chios standards
- Follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency and high quality presentation
- Assist with developing new seasonal pastry ideas and menu items
- Maintain a clean, organized and food safe work environment
- Manage daily production efficiently and communicate well with the kitchen team
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry kitchen (1–3 years preferred)
- A diploma or certificate from a Pastry Arts/Baking program is a strong asset
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail, organization and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
