Fol Epi is looking for part time artisanal bakery assistant.
We have a great team and well rounded bread program in a nice inviting space.
We mill our own flour with organic heritage grain from a farmer we have worked with for over 15 years. All our ingredients are organic. We believe strongly in using quality ingredients and consistent good technique to make the best breads possible.
We are looking for a candidate who is interested in working hard with a team, enjoying the process and contributing to a positive work environment.
Role:
- Dividing and shaping bread
- Assisting bakers in preparation of baked goods, scaling recipes, packaging
- Clear and effective communication skills, time management, attention to detail
- Cleaning and maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace including cleaning equipment, sanitizing surfaces, and proper storage of food items
- Must have food safe
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
Shifts:
Thursday and Friday 5am - 3pm
2 x 10 hr shifts
We also have some extra shifts available when our full time staff are on vacation this summer especially July 5 to 17th.
Attitude and ability to take direction and learn are more important than experience, but experience goes a long way.
