Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial settings. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced systems and utilize a broad range of technical skills, including mechanical knowledge and system design. The HVAC Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety compliance.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems using schematics, CAD drawings, and system design plans
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
- Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), mechanical components, and control systems
- Use tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, MATLAB, and LabVIEW for system analysis and troubleshooting
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades or modifications involving CNC machinery or other manufacturing equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all installation and repair activities
- Document service activities accurately in maintenance logs and reports
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC system installation and maintenance within commercial or industrial environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with understanding of mechanical engineering principles
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo for drafting and schematic interpretation
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and control systems such as LabVIEW or MATLAB
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, system design, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and CAD files effectively
- Basic understanding of CNC operations is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system issues efficiently
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred
