Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. Duties
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen surfaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
- Ensure all dishes and utensils are properly stored after cleaning
- Follow safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation
- Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by providing timely cleaning assistance
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment
- Availability to work afternoon/evenings on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays
Qualifications
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Hospitality or food service experience is a plus but not required
