They’re in search of a dynamic, hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the General Manager in leading daily operations of a high-volume, fast-paced craft beer and dining establishment. The AGM will play a key role in driving team performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability while upholding our client’s high standards and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including service flow, labor forecasting, scheduling, and inventory management (with a strong focus on the extensive beer, cocktail, and food programs).

Lead, mentor, recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team of hospitality professionals; foster a positive, supportive “family” culture and build future leaders.

Deliver exceptional guest experiences by maintaining our client’s standards, proactively resolving issues, and ensuring every visit creates memorable moments.

Collaborate with the General Manager on financial performance, including sales growth, cost control, budgeting, and profitability targets.

Champion innovation in operational strategies, menu execution, events, and guest engagement while continuously improving quality and efficiency.

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, alcohol service, and regulatory requirements, as well as our client’s sustainability and community initiatives.

Step up as the acting General Manager when needed and support broader initiatives such as marketing, local partnerships, and special events.
Qualifications & Requirements

2–3+ years of progressive management experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or craft beer-focused hospitality environment (previous AGM or similar leadership role strongly preferred).

Proven success in team leadership, staff development, performance management, and creating a positive workplace culture.

Strong knowledge of craft beer, beverage programs, food service operations, and guest service excellence is highly desirable.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to motivate and coach others.

Energetic, positive, approachable demeanor and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with flexible availability (evenings, weekends, and holidays required).
