Authorized SANY Heavy Equipment Dealer | Barrie Vaughan London
Administrative Assistant
Location: Barrie, Ontario (1471 Snow Valley Road)
About Us
Techniquip is an authorized SANY heavy equipment dealership serving Southern Ontario, with locations in Barrie, Vaughan, and London — and the potential to open several more branches across the province in the years ahead. We sell and service excavators, loaders, skid steers, cranes, compactors, foundation drilling equipment, and snow removal machinery. This is a pivotal growth period for our company, and we're building the team that will carry us through it.
The Role
We're looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the CEO and help keep daily operations running smoothly. As Techniquip continues to expand — with the possibility of new locations opening across Ontario — this role is positioned to grow right along with the company, making it a real opportunity for someone who wants to advance and take on more responsibility over time. Some prior administrative experience is required; we'll invest in the right candidate who shows initiative and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize the CEO's calendar, scheduling, and correspondence
- Handle email, phone, and in-person communications professionally
- Prepare, format, and file business documents, letters, and reports
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and follow-ups across multiple locations
- Maintain organized records and assist with general office administration
- Support coordination between current and any future branches as the company grows
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of administrative or office experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential matters
- Self-starter who can prioritize and work independently
- Valid driver's license an asset
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation based on experience
- Strong potential for growth as we potentially open new locations across Ontario
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and business operations
- A supportive, fast-paced work environment
