Job description
We are actively seeking an Operations Leadership Manager (Engineering and Construction) to provide day-to-day operations management overseeing a portfolio of 10+ projects working with 5+ Projects Managers. In this role you will be accountable for managing operations primarily for the Municipal Water and Wastewater Department to ensure delivery of project desired outcomes. This is a highly visible role interfacing with key players throughout the organization with a large scope of impact that will allow you to drive profitability. Once hired, you will be working from our Newmarket Office located at 18075 Leslie Street-Unit 210, Newmarket.
Key Responsibilities
- RAE’s Water Business Line is actively seeking an Operations Leadership Manager (Engineering and Construction) to provide day-to-day operations management overseeing a portfolio of 10+ projects working with 5+ Projects Managers
- In this role you will be accountable for managing operations primarily for the Municipal Water/WasteWater Department to ensure delivery of project desired outcomes
- This is a highly visible role interfacing with key players throughout the organization with a large scope of impact that will allow you to drive profitability
- Provides day-to-day financial overview of the projects
- Is responsible for project profitability with an eye towards client satisfaction, as well as managing administrative functions to ensure the projects achieve the financial KPIs
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in engineering)
- At least 8 - 10 years of sales experience in Operations Management in similar setting
- Strong network and connection with different businesses and decision makers within construction industry (from contractors, developers to engineers)
- Proven track record in consistently achieving results and building large team of professional in the engineering and construction industry.
