As part of our ongoing growth strategy and our commitment to maintaining our position as the largest independent manufacturer of lubricants and greases in Western Canada, we are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a moderate-paced warehouse environment and perform routine and often repetitive tasks.
- Fills and packages 20 Litre pails, 5 litre and 1 litre bottles.
- Produces required products and then relocates them to the loading area in the warehouse.
- Reviews customer orders and fills pails as necessary.
- Attaches pre-printed labels and tags to products as appropriate.
- Assists with managing packaging inventory levels.
- Maintains cleanliness of the packaging equipment (pumps, hoses, tanks, forklifts, floors, piping and retaining walls).
Qualifications:
- Ability to plan job tasks, solve common problems and make decisions as necessary.
- Ability to communicate effectively, oral and written, and must be able to read instructions and understand numbers and figures.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (23 kg’s) constantly.
- Ability to take direction and give direction.
- Ability to work well with others and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work with machinery.
