Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Landscaping Crew Leader to lead one of our landscaping crews throughout the season. This role is ideal for someone with landscaping experience who can manage a small team, maintain high-quality work standards, and keep jobs running efficiently.
As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, communicating with clients when needed, training team members, and ensuring projects are completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a landscaping crew on residential and commercial job sites
- Delegate tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards
- Perform landscaping tasks including:
- Mulching
- Garden bed cleanups
- Planting
- Trimming and pruning
- Sod installation
- Lawn maintenance
- Property cleanups
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Drive company trucks and trailers between job sites when required
- Train and support crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Conduct quality checks throughout projects to ensure professional results
- Communicate with management regarding job progress, materials, and any issues on site
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Load, unload, and care for tools, equipment, and materials
Requirements
- Previous landscaping experience required
- Leadership or crew management experience is considered a strong asset
- Ability to lead a team and keep crews productive throughout the day
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Experience operating landscaping equipment and towing trailers is an asset
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
