Job Summary
Oak Acres Children’s Camp is seeking enthusiastic and caring Camp Counsellors for the upcoming camp season. Located in Murray River, Prince Edward Island, our goal is to provide each camper with a fun positive camping experience and to build new friendships.
Position: Seasonal - Mid-June to late August
Pay: Based on experience
As a Camp Counsellor, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to campers
- Enjoy working with children in a positive outdoor environment
- Teach, plan, and participate in a variety of camp activities and programs
- Help maintain clean and tidy cabins, staff housing, and camp facilities
- Supervise groups of 8–10 children per session
- Fully engage in all aspects of camp life
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment
- Encourage teamwork, friendship and safety
- Help campers build confidence and creativity
- Make camp a fun and memorable experience for all
