Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting overall accounting functions. Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, MS Office, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with budgeting processes and financial reporting
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Support payroll processing and related reporting tasks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience with bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Office is required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports accurately
- Knowledge of account reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting processes
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
