Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant is hiring a full-time Bartender for our North Vancouver location.
You will prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages while delivering friendly, professional service in a busy restaurant environment. You will also help maintain a clean, organized bar and work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service.
Previous bartending experience is an asset but is not required. We are looking for someone who communicates well, stays organized, works efficiently during busy service and is eager to learn. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Schedule and Availability
Full availability is required.
Shifts may include:
- Morning shifts
- Evening shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekends
- Statutory holidays
Applicants must be available to work any shift based on the restaurant schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages consistently
- Take drink orders accurately and provide professional guest service
- Maintain speed and organization during high-volume service
- Keep the bar clean, stocked and ready for service
- Prepare house-made beverages and bar components according to recipes
- Recommend food and beverage pairings to guests
- Support servers and other front-of-house team members during busy periods
- Follow liquor service, sanitation and workplace safety procedures
Requirements
- Full availability for all required shifts
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Valid Serving It Right certificate
Previous bartending experience is an asset, but is not required.
