As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Lead Plumber to join our team.
This is a working foreman position. We are looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front by working alongside their crew while taking ownership of the day-to-day execution of the project. You will work closely with our Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects organized, productive, safe, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
Lead plumbing and mechanical crews while remaining actively involved in the installation of the work.
Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure installations meet project requirements.
Plan labour, materials, equipment, and daily work activities to maximize productivity.
Maintain a safe and organized job site while ensuring company and client safety standards are followed.
Monitor quality throughout construction and ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
Identify field issues early and work with the project team to develop practical solutions.
Complete daily reports, track labour and materials, and communicate project progress.
Train and mentor apprentices while developing a strong team culture focused on professionalism and accountability.
Assist with commissioning, deficiencies, and project turnover.
Represent Natik professionally with clients, consultants, and inspectors.
Qualifications
Journeyperson Plumber certification. Red Seal is considered an asset.
Five or more years of commercial or institutional plumbing experience.
Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or Working Foreman.
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, mechanical systems, and applicable plumbing codes.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and delivering projects successfully.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
Willingness to travel and work on rotational projects throughout Northern Canada.
