Retail Sales & Merchandising Associate – FIFA Pop-Up Shop

Job Summary
We are seeking energetic, friendly, and dependable Retail Sales & Merchandising Associates to join our team at a FIFA pop-up shop located in CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
The ideal candidate is passionate about soccer, retail, and delivering excellent customer experiences. In this role, you will assist customers, process sales transactions, maintain merchandise displays, replenish products, and help create an exciting and welcoming shopping environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a fast-paced retail setting while supporting a major international sports brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Help customers locate merchandise, select products, and make purchasing decisions.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and mobile payment transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Replenish merchandise and ensure products are properly displayed, organized, and priced.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards throughout the store.
- Receive, organize, and prepare inventory for the sales floor.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures when required.
- Respond professionally to customer questions, concerns, and product inquiries.
- Support loss-prevention procedures and report inventory concerns.
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to meet sales and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales, customer service, cashier, or merchandising experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate a POS system and accurately handle payments.
- Interest in soccer, FIFA merchandise, or sporting events is considered an asset.
- Multilingual abilities are considered an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move merchandise.
