Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team in central Edmonton. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in co managing the general population, with an evidence based treatment focus . This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, utilizing your expertise to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, health maintenance, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices and incorporate evidence-based approaches into patient care. Currently there are 3 chiropractors, and two massage therapists at this location, with a second location providing added referrals from owner owned wellness center in south edmonton.
Skills
- Experience a strong asset, with prior patient base increasing compensation rates, but not necessary.
- Dry needling is provided to a large patient base so would be a value added benefit to the clinic.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Ability to co manage patients and must be able to refer within the clinic to other disciplines.
Pay: $60.00-$240.00 per hour
