We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a custom fabrication facility, where they will be responsible for fabricating and welding components to create products that meet our safety standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of welding procedures, have the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while demonstrating exceptional listening skills.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment and other fabrication tools in a safe manner.
- Perform welding processes such as MIG, TIG, stick
- Oxy-acetylene welding is considered an asset
- Cut and shape metal using a variety of tools such as plasma cutters, shears, saws, grinders, etc.
- Inspect welds for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- NOTE: You will be required to supply your own tools.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
