Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating precise shop drawings using AutoCAD and possess a solid understanding of design principles. This role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time employment and is perfect for individuals passionate about translating technical specifications into high-quality, accurate drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shop Drawings Creation: Prepare and review detailed shop drawings for various projects, ensuring they meet all required specifications and standards.
- Technical Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD to produce high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and blueprints.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and client expectations.
- Documentation: Maintain organized and thorough records of all drawings and revisions for ongoing and completed projects.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting, with a strong focus on shop drawings.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of architectural and structural drafting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into detailed drawings.

- Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with building code compliance is a plus.
- Experience with Underground Garage and Parking Levels design
- Familiarity with other drafting software is an asset.
- Experience in designing automated parking systems layout is a plus

Pay: $40,551.95-$76,869.61 per year
