We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly, patient-focused community pharmacy in Kahnawake. This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment serving an exclusively English-speaking community in Kahnawake.
Responsibilities
- Process and prepare prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Accurately enter prescription information into ReflexRX.
- Process insurance claims with NIHB.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring medication expiry dates.
- Support the pharmacist with daily pharmacy operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service in a professional, empathetic and compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a community pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of prescription processing and billing.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is absolutely required. French considered an asset.
