As we continue to expand, we’re looking for energetic, customer-focused sales professionals to join our team as Home Energy Advisor GTA.
Position Overview
As Home Energy Advisor, you will be responsible for generating sales of whole home comfort products and services through in-home consultations. This is a 100% commission-based opportunity, ideal for self-driven professionals who excel in a performance-based environment.
In this role, you’ll guide homeowners through the entire sales process — from initial consultation and equipment recommendation to completing the financing process in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
You’ll receive company-provided leads, have the flexibility to self-generate additional business, and enjoy unlimited earning potential based on your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional in-home consultations with homeowners to assess their comfort needs and recommend suitable solutions (e.g., furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, water heaters, water treatment systems).
- Present and sell products and services using a consultative, needs-based approach.
- Explain financing options, promotions, incentives and rebates clearly to customers.
- Facilitate and complete the customer financing process in accordance with company policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Manage and convert both company-provided and self-generated leads through diligent follow-up and relationship building.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, service offerings, financing programs, and industry developments.
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate homeowner availability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of successful direct sales experience (residential B2C preferred).
- Proven ability to perform in a commission-only environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills — builds trust and rapport easily.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle (required).
- Comfortable using CRM systems and basic digital tools for lead tracking and quoting.
- Knowledge of HVAC, water heating, or home services is an asset (training provided).
- Familiarity with consumer financing and credit application processes is an advantage.
