About Cooper Roofing
Cooper Roofing is an award-winning roofing company serving Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. We specialize in high-end residential and commercial roofing and are known for strong systems, professionalism, and consistent performance.
We are building out a structured Service Division focused on:
- Roofing repairs
- Partial re-roofs
- Maintenance programs
This is not a full re-roof or new roof estimator role. This is a service-driven, opportunity-maximizing sales position.
About the Role
This is a face-to-face outside sales role.
You will attend service and repair leads, diagnose roofing issues, and present structured solution options.
You are not responsible for full estimating or takeoffs. Your job is to gather accurate site information, define scope clearly, and work with our estimator to produce professional proposals.
You focus on selling. We handle the estimating support.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Attend scheduled repair and service leads (majority provided)
- Diagnose roofing problems and identify full scope of work
- Expand small repairs into properly scoped projects when appropriate
- Sell maintenance agreements and recurring service contracts
- Identify coating and partial re-roof opportunities
- Provide detailed notes, photos, and measurements to estimating team
- Maintain organized CRM documentation
- Set and execute weekly sales goals
- Work closely with service technicians and office team

Qualifications
- 3+ years of outside sales experience
- Strong closing and objection-handling skills
- Comfortable climbing ladders and inspecting roofs (training provided)
- Tech comfortable (CRM, laptop, phone apps)
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Roofing experience is an asset
Compensation Structure
- $50,000 Base Salary
- Commission structure designed for strong upside
- Realistic Year 1 earnings: $75,000 – $100,000+
- Year 2+ potential: $100,000 – $120,000+
