We’re looking for a creative, energetic Social Media Manager & Content Creator for our moving company in Calgary.
This role is for someone who lives on social media, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and knows how to turn everyday moments into content that gets attention, comments, shares, and reactions.
You’ll be coming up with content ideas, filming at our office and job sites, creating reels and posts, replying to comments, and bringing fresh ideas and trends to help grow our follower count, brand visibility, and engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Come up with content ideas for our social media (IG/FB, Youtube)
- Plan, film, edit viral reels, long and short-form videos
- Visit our office and moving job sites in Calgary to capture content
- Create graphics and ad-style creatives
- Write captions, hooks, and post copy
- Reply to comments and help grow engagement
- Bring new ideas to increase reach and followers
- Stay on top of trends, formats, audio, and platform changes
- Help make our brand feel active, creative, and recognizable
Requirements
- Must be in Calgary
- Available 3 days per week (1 day in office, 2 from home)
- Experience with managing paid ads on IG/FB
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong graphic design skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook
- Good understanding of social media algorithms and content performance
- Comfortable filming on-site at the office and moving locations
- Comfortable being proactive and bringing new ideas
- Able to edit short-form video content
- Able to write catchy hooks and captions
