We're looking to hire outgoing, personable, and fun camp counselors at Sprouts Growing Bodies & Minds with experience working with 4-8yr olds. www.sproutskids.ca
Full-Time and Part-Time hours are available. Typically within 8:30 am - 6:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Training begins week of June 22nd or June 29th.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the safety of all children in the camp and on-site.
- Supervising a group of 8 to 12 children while on-site.
- Supervising a group of 5 to 7 children while off-site.
- Supervising children during park time & field trips.
- Creating and implementing weekly programs in accordance with guidelines.
- Following weekly programs and ensuring children are kept busy and entertained.
- Adhering to all of Sprouts-Growing Bodies & Minds Policies & Procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be fun, outgoing, and energetic!!!
- Must be 17 years or older.
- Valid 1st Aid / CPR certificate is mandatory.
- Current Vulnerable Sector/Criminal Record Check (issued not longer than 3 months prior to hiring) is mandatory and can be completed by Sprouts.
- Must be available to work for the summer (10 weeks)
- Previous experience with children under 4-8 is a requirement.
- Previous day camp experience is an asset.
