Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Logistics Sales Representative to join our team. This role is essential in expanding our logistics solutions and building strong relationships with clients in the supply chain and freight management sectors. Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify new business opportunities within the logistics and freight industry.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts through effective relationship management and upselling of services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to meet client needs while ensuring profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate freight solutions, supply chain logistics, and 3PL services.
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
- Conduct data entry related to sales orders, customer information, and shipment details using AS400 or similar platforms.
- Present tailored logistics solutions to prospective clients through inside sales channels.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and emerging supply chain technologies.
- Assist in resolving customer issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales within the freight, supply chain, or logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and data entry systems such as AS400.
- Knowledge of freight operations, supply chain processes, and 3PL services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inside sales strategies and account management techniques.
- Prior experience in sales management or related roles is preferred but not required. Pay: $32,488.59-$121,045.84 per year
