Job Overview
The company is seeking a motivated and hands-on Construction Supervisor to oversee multi-family and commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating daily site operations, maintaining quality standards, ensuring project timelines are met, and supporting safe work practices on-site.
The successful candidate will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage construction projects through all phases of completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, progress, and overall project quality.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to maintain project schedules and workflow.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
- Address day-to-day site issues and provide timely solutions to keep projects running smoothly.
- Coordinate material deliveries and manage material movement between job sites as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and site-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain project documentation and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Utilize basic digital tools and software including Outlook, Excel, and mobile/site management applications.
Qualification:
- 2–4 years of relevant construction experience in either a hands-on trade or supervisory capacity.
- Experience with commercial or multi-family framing projects considered is required.
- Previous construction management or site supervisory experience is required.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and site coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and common workplace software applications.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
