About the Position
We are looking for an energetic and skilled individual who will perform maintenance & repairs related to buildings, grounds and equipment, in one or more areas such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and grounds-keeping. The building maintenance worker together with maintenance staff as a team ensure the properties are operating effectively and efficiently. This position is required to be on-call on a rotating scheduled basis to handle emergencies from tenants and property emergencies such as fire and flood, in accordance with the collective agreement. This position requires the use of vehicle in good working order and a valid class 5 license. We are part of the BCGEU and this position requires union membership.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
•Grade 10, plus related vocational training such as a building maintenance course.
•Two (2) years recent related experience.
•Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Pay: $25.95-$29.76 per hour
