Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Prior experience in law enforcement or surveillance is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the premises
- Enforce security protocols and loss prevention procedures to protect assets and personnel
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed
- Assist with crowd control during events or high-traffic periods
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff with directions or inquiries
Requirements
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols across large areas
- Must pass background checks and any required screening processes
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
Pay: $15.12-$18.00 per hour
