Want a short, hands-on project that is more interesting than basic labour?
Deconstructors Demolition is looking for two experienced carpenters or skilled labourers to join us for a one-week selective demolition project in Moose Jaw.
This is a great fit for someone who knows their way around tools, understands how buildings go together, and enjoys carefully taking things apart. Selective demolition is not just smashing — it is skilled, thoughtful removal of materials while keeping the site safe, organized, and controlled.
This project runs this coming Tuesday through Friday/ Saturday, with the opportunity for additional temporary work in the future for reliable workers who are a good fit.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with selective demolition and careful material removal
- Using hand tools and basic power tools
- Helping dismantle building materials, finishes, and components
- Sorting, moving, loading, and organizing materials
- Keeping the work area clean, safe, and efficient
- Working with the site lead and following safety procedures
We’re looking for people who:
- Have carpentry, construction, renovation, demolition, or skilled labour experience
- Are comfortable working with tools
- Can work safely and efficiently with minimal hand-holding
- Are physically capable and ready for hands-on work
- Are reliable and available on short notice
- Take pride in doing the job properly
Assets:
- Fall Protection certification
- Reliable transportation
- Previous selective demolition or renovation experience
- Additional safety tickets
Requirements:
- Must be available to start Tuesday, June 30th
- Must be available through Saturday, July 4th
- Must have work boots and basic PPE
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
This is a quick-turnaround project with a professional demolition company and potential for future temporary work.
