The duties and responsibilities of the Pizza Maker/Kitchen Helper include, but are not limited to:
Breading fish and other meats, vegetable cleaning and cutting, slicing and dicing pizza toppings, content for appetizers, sauces, etc.
Making dough, spreading toppings, and baking pizzas
General cooking tasks (example: cooking pasta)
Operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
Cleaning, sweeping, and mopping of floors in Kitchen, storage and cooler areas
Inspecting and cleaning food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
Maintaining an orderly, sanitary, and safe work area
Monitoring product use throughout serving period to prevent over production or early depletion
All other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Oldcastle, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
