Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time or Full-Time Accounts Receivable & Accounting Clerk, with the primary focus on accounts receivable collections. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining positive cash flow by proactively following up with customers and ensuring timely payments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and follow up on outstanding customer accounts
- Contact customers via phone and email to collect overdue balances
- Maintain accurate records of collection efforts and payment arrangements
- Apply payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies
- Issue invoices and monthly account statements
- Assist with AR aging reports and monthly reconciliations
- Support general accounting and administrative duties as required
- Assist with day to day administrative and book keeping tasks
- General Administrative requirements

Ideal Candidate
- Experience in accounts receivable and collections (1–2 years preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a confident, professional phone manner
- Organized and self-motivated, with a high attention to detail
- Comfortable using Excel and accounting systems
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience in Quickbooks software would be an asset
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $34,440.47-$72,465.47 per year
