What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Complete interior and exterior painting projects to J&B’s quality checklist
- Perform all prep work: washing, patching, sanding, priming
- Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brush, roller, and sprayer (preferred)
- Work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and teammates
- Protect client property and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Contribute to reducing callbacks by following our “zero-defect” standards
Key problem you solve:
Deliver clean, on-time paint jobs that make clients confident enough to refer us.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Your work passes QC with minimal or zero callbacks
- Jobs are completed on or ahead of schedule
- Clients and teammates mention your reliability by name
- You consistently show urgency, ownership, and professionalism

Requirements (Read Carefully)
You’re a strong fit if:
- You have 1+ years of professional painting experience (DIY does not count)
- You’re skilled with brushing, rolling, and cutting-in (sprayer experience is a plus)
- You’re physically capable (lifting 60 lbs, ladders, full days on your feet)
- You communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- You’re reliable, punctual, coachable, and drama-free
- You have reliable transportation around Edmonton

- Corner-cutters or “good enough” painters
- People who avoid feedback or blame others
- Anyone bringing ego, excuses, or drama
Compensation & Growth
What we offer:
- $22.62–$33/hour, based on skill and performance
- Top painters earn $70,000+ annually with OT and bonuses

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Occasional evenings/weekends
- Year-round work (strong interior pipeline in winter)
