MHE operator- Order picking
We are currently hiring forklift operators to support warehouse operations
This role requires experience with Walkie/Double End Rider forklifts
Salary: $21.00 per hr, paid weekly plus 4% vacation pay
Evening prime: 1.50$
Schedules: 2:30pm-11pm Monday to Friday
Kindly note there is no bus transportation offered in the area
Main tasks: MHE operator- Order picking
1. Safely operate the Raymond Double Walkie -Front Rider
2. Operating material handling equipment to support warehouse operations
3. Performing receiving, order picking, shipping, inventory control, cycle counts
4. Following Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols
5. Maintaining productivity, accuracy, and service-level targets
6. Participating in cycle counts, moving pallets, and keeping the warehouse organized and clean
7. Adhering to Occupational Health & Safety standards; lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively
8. All other related tasks
Requirements for the forklift operator position:
1. Valid certification on the Walkie/Double End Rider forklifts
2. Reach and/or Dock stocker/Stand up Counterbalance experience is an asset
3. At least 2 years of relevant forklift experience
4. Experience with RF-based WMS systems (e.g., Red Prairie)
5. Secondary school diploma preferred
6. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work at heights (Order Picker)
