Family owned Food Company seeking an Electrician for Industrial Electrical work. Will be responsible for all aspects of facility low voltage (600V and below).

- Maintenance Functions: Preventative maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, respond to emergency repairs on equipment, reduce time, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustment. Engaging in electrical work and completing tasks.
- Quality, Customer Focus, Safety and Environment: Build positive relations internally and externally, ensure clean work area and follow GMPs. Comply and uphold quality system requirements, adhere to all safety practices and protocols.
- Wiring of motors and machinery. Trouble shooting PLC and electrical issues. Replacing/ upgrading/ improving lighting, equipment wiring and support infrastructure electrical components. Be capable of programing and trouble shooting VFD's, install new panels, wiring to offices and support areas. Must be capable of reading and reviewing basic electrical schematics.
- Some mechanical work involved such as changing gearboxes, sprockets, bearings, shields, chains, thermocouples, heating elements, sealing devices as required.
- 2-3 Years of work experience in a maintenance and electrician function preferably in food manufacturing. Ability to work diligently and unsupervised. Punctuality is very important.
- Class 5 Power Engineering Certification or Willingness to obtain.
- Electrician Trade Certification required
- Millwright Trade Certification asset
- Good References.

Pay: $35.40-$38.60 per hour
