Raw Security & Investigations Inc. is a licensed Ontario security company committed to providing professional, reliable, and customer-focused security services across the province. We are currently expanding our operations in the Hamilton area and are looking for dependable Security Guards to join our growing team.
Position Summary
We are seeking licensed Security Guards who are flexible and available to work on-call shifts, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Successful candidates must be professional, punctual, and capable of responding to short-notice scheduling when required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and access control points.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, tenants, employees, and visitors.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, and other incidents.
- Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.
- Monitor CCTV systems where applicable.
- Enforce site rules and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with emergency services, clients, and management.
- Report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and suspicious activities.
- Perform other security-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Valid First Aid & CPR (Level C) Certification.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Must be willing to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Assets
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence.
- Access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous security experience.
- Experience in retail, commercial, condominium, industrial, construction, logistics, or gatehouse security.
- Knowledge of report writing and incident documentation.
