Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Cook to join our team. Duties
- Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, floors, and storage spaces.
- Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely service during busy periods.
- Follow food handling safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of guests and staff.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently.
- Ensure all kitchen tools and supplies are properly stored and organized for easy access.
- Assist with setting up dining areas when needed, including serving or clearing tables as part of hospitality duties.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures in a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices is beneficial.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or food service roles will help in performing duties efficiently.
