We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team At Pur n simple . Weekeends availability. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Experience in food service, hospitality, or the food industry is preferred, along with strong customer service skills and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a vital role in supporting the overall success of our restaurant by delivering prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas according to food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure guest needs are met promptly by responding to requests and resolving any issues professionally
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
Pay: $17.20-$28.49 per hour
